We hope this email finds you and your family safe and healthy. We are writing to inform you that the 10th Women’s Cancers Classic golf tournament, scheduled for October 12, 2020, has been cancelled. This decision was made after consulting with the staffs of Dedham Country and Polo Club (DCPC) and Jimmy Fund Golf and receiving input from many of our sponsors. The new and evolving regulations issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts also weighed heavily on our decision. We are currently working with DCPC to reschedule the event for June, 2021 and will update you when we have further information.
Despite the cancellation of this year’s event, we remain committed to our mission and the cause to which our efforts are directed – to maximize the impact of research into women’s cancers by funding cutting edge efforts at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Please consider continuing your on-going support of these efforts by going to our website at www.womenscancersclassic.com and making a donation. For those of you who have already paid for your sponsorship for 2020, we ask that you consider treating this as a donation to the cause for 2020 or to be credited to your sponsorship for 2021. Please let us know how you would like to proceed. We greatly appreciate your commitment.
We look forward to seeing you all in 2021 for the 10th Women’s Cancers Classic.
